Review Cocker Spaniel

I grew up with a golden colored Cocker Spaniel that was my favorite dog as a child. They are great family pets. They stay by your side and will follow you all around the house. I was also able to teach him how to howl along with me, which I thought was neat. He even taught my Maltese how to howl. He got along with every dog he would meet. He was raised with a German Sheppard and Malteses.

However, there were cons to owning a Cocker Spaniel. For one he was neurotic and when he would get to excited or when you would come home from work he would pee right where he was. However, its hard to get upset with him with wagging nubby tail! He also would suffer from seizures and the vet didn't know what caused them. That terrified me! Aside from that, they made great dogs for the family!
