Acquired: Pet store
Gender: Female
Training: I haven't learned care / training techniques
I loved my dog Cocoa. She was a Cocker Spaniel and I got her from the pet store. ( a mistake that i shouldn't have done on my behalf). She was mostly indoors and never really out of the house unless her business was done. Usually shes quite comfortable with it and was very sociable amongst the guests that I invited at home.
Cocoa is a friendly dog and would call us when the phone rang or if there were important matters at the front door. I love that because she was always alert wanting to tell the world what was going on at home! Taking care of Cocoa isn't too hard as her fur is medium to short in length and there wasn't a lot of excess hair to rid of.
The offside of things for Cocoa is that she had a fair amount of skin issues such as little globs growing on different parts of her body. The amount of these skin problems increased as she became older. Maintenance of her ears was also an issue as her ears were long and always damp which eventually became pretty foul when you tried to clean them. But I suppose that is part and parcel of having a Cocker Spaniel.
