Sam the Spaniel

This is the dog I grew up with, so he will always have a special place in my heart, but I don't think I would ever adopt a dog of the breed again. While they are very laid back and lovable, as an outdoors-man and hunter I think something else may better suit my needs. Sam was soft and great with my younger siblings, her never bit, and he never caused any real trouble. I would suggest a cocker spaniel to someone looking for dog to keep around their children, but not someone who is looking for a companion dog.
