Big and Fluffy? Win-Win

Big dogs are easy to find. So are fluffy ones. However, finding the combination is pretty rare. I love Chow Chows! Every Chow I have met has been a wonderful dog, with sweet temperament and obedience.

Princess was my most recent experience with this lovable breed. I selected a wonderful home for the fuzzball with a lovely adoptive mother. Princess was very affectionate as a puppy and was eager to meet every person and pup she came across.

Things to know about Chows:
- They shed, and since they are big dogs that means A LOT of fur.
- Though they might seem all fluffy and gentle, they are dominant dogs. You need to show early that you are the alpha, otherwise training will be difficult.
- They are great family dogs, especially if introduced to small children when they are puppies
- They can get along with cats! From experience I have seen several chow-cat friendships.
-They are lazy dogs. Good dogs for apartment living as long as you take them for adequate walks regularly.
