Bella is one of the smallest dogs I have ever seen. She is very loving one on one but not very warm in groups. She is definitely a 'lap dog'. She enjoys warm places like hiding under blankets and as I've already said on laps. At ten she has started to have some dental issues which lead to having teeth removed but she is still very healthy for her age. She doesn't have any of the 'yipping' issues I've heard about with other Chihuahuas. Unlike our other dog, when I take her outside she seems to be completely oblivious to her surroundings. She is a great dog for apartments or small homes but by no means a guard dog.
