Tiny the Chihuahua

Tiny was my moms Chihuahua. Even though he was very small and cute, he hated everyone except my mom. He would sit on her shoulder when she was on the couch and growl and bite anyone who came near my mom. He was extremely affectionate with her though, and she loved him dearly.

I think that if he had been more affectionate to everyone else I would have fonder memories of him.

As I have come to know dog breeds and talked to other people about their Chihuahua's, I've come to realize that it's not uncommon for them to bond with just one person and keep everyone else at "paw's length" :-)

I'm sure not every Chihuahua is like that, but that's my experience with them.
