Although we had no idea how large this puppy would eventually become, we knew we would love her anyways. She is very bright, and very easily entertained. Training her is practically a breeze, and she learns more and more everyday. A large yard is definitely a requirement for this breed, as she is always happier outdoors where she can run and smell as she pleases.
We have had a few issues with her chewing on the corners of rugs and stealing a sock or two, but overall, she doesn't seem to be all that destructive. Rawhide and raw bones are definitely a life saver with her, as she does get bored easily and tends to chew on the tree branches if a bone is not near by. I've never had a dog that is as incredibly happy as she is; nothing seems to upset her, and she is overjoyed to greet everyone. She's loyal, loving, and the perfect family dog.
