Cane Corso Review

The Cane Corso is not a dog for an inexperienced owner. Although I have not owned one myself, I have worked with them for a number of years. The Cane Corso is bred to be naturally suspicious around strangers, and a guardian of his or her owner. Without appropriate socialization, started very early, this can make them rather dangerous despite fierce devotion to their owners. With consistent leadership from his owner, the Corso can definitely be a wonderful animal. Any I have known did not trust me at first and displayed definite suspicion. However, with enough time and patience, they grew into loving and trusting companions. With very short fur, the Cane Corso doesn't require much grooming at all, but given that some have wrinkles and skin folds, it is important to keep those clean. A good dog for the right, experienced owner.
