I adopted my dog during the same week I first moved to my current location, and let me tell you: that was the best decision of my life. Right from the start he was an adorable little creature. Complete with silky fur, chubby legs, and those smoldering puppy-dog eyes, he was exactly what I needed to help get me through my jet lag. This isn't to say that he didn't come with his fair share of problems, though. He was a mischievous little pup, and very curious. He often stuck his nose into places he shouldn't have, and was not afraid to sneak himself some forbidden foods. He definitely required patience in his upbringing, but he ended up becoming a very important addition to the family. Though he started out as very loud, hyperactive, and energetic, he has mellowed out with age, and is completely relaxed around people. And don't get me started on how good he is around kids! My little niece has tripped over him, accidentally dropped toys on him, and has even taken handfuls of his dog food (while he was eating it!) and he has never reacted negatively. I would definitely recommend this breed for everyone, especially families with children!
