Our Bull Terrier, Candy was a fireball! She loved to run and play! Candy literally ran circles around my husband and myself. It was very hard to keep up with her seemingly never-ending energy! She was extremely affectionate, however very vocal (she was quite a barker).
The downside to having and loving Candy was, she was totally deaf (not uncommon for all white dogs). We were totally blindsided by this devastating news from our vet. While we tried our best to keep Candy and give her a normal life, we just couldn't do it! Fortunately, we gave her to a friend who had experience raising deaf animals. With him, Candy was showered with love, affection, and patience. The blessing in it all was we were able to visit Candy as much as we liked!
