Many people don’t like this type of breed, whether it is because of ugliness or because they have a bad personality, which I believe in both cases is bogus.
While I was growing up, we had a number of bull terriers and their personality was shaped in the way they were brought up. All our bull terriers were very friendly towards the family as well as known friend, not so much to strangers walking by or coming too close to the yard.
Our bullies were loyal, loving and very entertaining to watch their clownish behaviour when they are excited. In my personal opinion I will vouch that having a bull terrier will be great addition and companion to any family.
