As the title states, Taffy was a rather perfect dog. She was our family pet growing up. Or maybe we were her pets because she ruled our house. Her size was ideal: not so small that you sat on her but not too big to sleep with you. She never had any odors and her soft fur was always comforting to stroke. She had a great disposition and would randomly do what we called her "running olympics" where, out of nowhere, she would run at full speed all around the yard for five minutes. Taffy was well-behaved but got extremely excited whenever someone returned home. She would wiggle her butt and run around in a circle and then jump all the way up to your face to try and kiss you. On some occasions when it took a little longer to open the door, she peed with excitement. It was annoying but adorable at the same time.
