Big Goofy Best Friends

I have never met a boxer I didn't like!

At the rescue, I have seen litter after litter of boxer puppies get adopted and to date I have never seen one returned as an adult. To me, that says they are making their families very happy and causing very few problems.

Boxers are very friendly, energetic and silly dogs. They are great family pets with very little aggression and strong loyalty. They are relatively easy to train, as they are eager to please their master.

Two things I like to add when discussing this breed. 1- They are big dogs. Big dogs generally mean a big food budget. Also, it can mean hip problems in the long run. 2- Even though they are very gentle with kids, I wouldn't recommend them around toddlers. They are large, goofy dogs, which can lead to some toppled over toddlers.
