I have worked with many dogs through my career but Stanley is the most incredible dog I have met. Owning him is like having a best mate as my constant companion. We are fairly inseparable and I cannot imagine a world without him. He is task oriented as Kelpies are but with all the enthusiastic, unconditional love a Staffy can give you. There is a not a two or four legged creature he can't win over with his brown eyes or crazy tricks. We go to work together, exercise together, he shares my bed (but I remain the alpha dog), sing together and are at one with each other. A puppy from a litter of ten, whose mum and 3 siblings died when he was 5 weeks old. He fell ill with severe gastroenteritis and required a blood transfusion to pull him through; he is now a blood donor for other dogs helping to save their lives. Mixed breed dogs win me over every time.
