The Borzoi

The Borzoi is such a neat breed. The first time I saw one I was so impressed with how tall and majestic they look. However, this one sometimes would get tangled up in his own feet! I would not suggest this breed for anyone with small children as they could easily topple over your child. They do have a good temperament and are good with other pets as well. Borzois are typically so sweet they would love to be a lap dog if they could! However, don't let that fool you into thinking they could live in an apartment. This large breed needs plenty of room to run and play. Also, keep in mind they have a shorter life span than the average dog. Ten years is about average for a Borzoi. I think it could be due to the fact that they get so big so fast. Nevertheless, a great, intelligent breed!
