A Funny Story:

A few years ago my family had to go out of town for a few days. Normally, we would bring our dogs with us, but this time that was not an option. We set up plans for my best friend (who Cooper had met many, many times) to dog sit for the weekend. The very first day, my friend called me and said, “I am standing on your front steps and I don’t know what to do. Cooper will not let me in the house! He is viciously growling and barking and charging at me when I try!” The only thing I could come up with was to have her put me on speaker phone and stick her hand and phone in the door. I yelled out “Cooper! You be nice! No barking!” He immediately stopped and turned back into his usual friendly self and allowed my friend into the house. She had no other problems coming and going the entire weekend.
