Clover is the boss in my house! We jokingly call her the Lil' Sergeant. Whatever is going on, Clover must have her share.

As a puppy, Clover resembled her mother, a beautiful full bread Border Collie, but as she matured she began to look more like her dad, a wire haired Jack Russell. She's medium sized with a gorgeous, albeit slightly course, coat and a rather full ruff around the neck, which makes her look like she's wearing a fur color.

But the really special thing about Clover is her intelligence. She's incredibly intuitive, like most dogs, but she also has the ability to learn tricks and other bits of useful knowledge very quickly.

She's a working dog by nature and loves to have a job to do and LOVES to run. She also has a bark that can peel the paint off the walls. I can only assume that her sharp piercing bark is a Border Collie trait and is useful when herding sheep.

She's extremely affectionate and needs to be by my side at all times. She's truly a special dog and I feel lucky to have her.

(Clover's hair is cut short for the hot summer so you can't see the full effect of her mane)
