The Best Family Pet

We couldn't have asked for a better companion. Our bichon was a part of our family for fourteen years. These little dogs have huge personalities. He always stuck close by, following us around the house, and he was great with little kids. They're not the quietest of pets - they're territorial and they'll bark if they hear something they don't recognize. They can also be a bit tough to train - when he was young, he would get into the garbage whenever he got the chance! But eventually, he grew out of it.

Outside of his perfect demeanour, our bichon was easy to take care of. In general, bichons are great with people and very low maintenance. They're easy to groom and they don't shed. If you're allergic to pet fur, you can't get much better. Bichons have hair, not fur, so they don't aggravate allergies. If you make sure to walk them daily and feed them properly, bichons will live a long and healthy life. Our pup was in great shape right up until the week before he passed away.
