My First Dog - Bichon Frise

This was my very first dog. He was very well trained as a pup, barked when it was appropriate to bark (when someone was at the front door or if a stranger walked into the house). He was extremely loving and patient, loved getting pets and snuggling up with you on the couch. He was great around young children and people after they were introduced. One of the reasons why we got this breed in the first place was because one of our family members was allergic to dog dander and it worked out perfectly (did not have a reaction to the dog). I recommend this dog if you are in a suburb and would like to have a loving starter dog.
