Mollie was always a very energetic dog. From the time she took her first steps, she was running around the room and wreaking havoc. She's always been a good dog, though, and never once bit anybody in her adulthood. We raised her from the time she was borne to my two older dogs and watched her grow. She's amazing with kids; very friendly and affectionate. She likes to cuddle until it's time to go to sleep and then she prefers being on her own. She sometimes sleeps at the end of the bed, near my feet, but that's as close as she likes to get while she's sleeping.
It was kind of difficult to potty train her, though. She did pretty well with training pads, but she was never really good about letting anybody know that she needed to go out and ended up having a few accidents in the house.
She gave birth to three puppies when she was just over a year old and started having digestion problems directly after that, which made the potty training we'd worked on even more difficult for her. Eventually, we learned that she had a gluten allergy and had to switch to a special formula dog food. Immediately, she got better and no longer had accidents.
She's doing very well now and is still the perfect family pet.
