Bichon Frise- what a great dog!

I dogsat for an older Bichon Frise for long periods of times. The family that owned Charlie traveled frequently, leaving me at home with him. After dogsitting for many different pets, Charlie was one of the easiest dogs to take care of. He was well-trained and always waited until I got there to go out to the bathroom. He loved taking walks and would trot happily along with me holding his leash. He sometimes would get a little to excited jumping up high repeatedly. This usually was the case when I was just about to feed him or take him on a walk. Even though he barked a lot, he would not be a great guard dog as he loved everyone he would pet him. Sadly, Charlie passed away this past year. However, I would recommend this pet for anyone who wants a great little dog with minimal care.
