Maliniois
Definition “Intense” occurring or existing in a high degree; very strong; extreme, sharp, strenuous; earnest; fervent ... Also see Belgian Maliniois. It’s so very true about the Maliniois. I have worked “Mals” for over 10 years, I can’t say enough about them.
Let’s start with the Ruff; Mals are a high, high, drive dog, they need to run, they need the game. This is often not a first time pet, as this dog will need a strict leader at first. ‘Yes means Yes” “No must mean no”, or a Mal will try to be the boss.
The great; Mals are excellent at learning, and have high ball drive; the dog will work all day. Tricks and games are easy for them to learn. Which is why they are now very big in dog sports and Police work?
Mals are loyal to their owners but are not overly protective like a Rottweiler.
Tip: Maliniois should be purchased from puppy to 1 ½ years of age for a good family or working dog.
