Our Belgian Malinois started out as an energetic and curious little guy. The bigger he got, the more his energy grew. He doesn't do well with being alone and needs constant attention or he gets a bit sad. He's definitely one of those dogs that is obsessed with tennis balls. If allowed, he would never stop playing fetch. He definitely needs a LOT of play time and an owner that's willing to be active with him.

On the upside, he is extremely affectionate and friendly to everyone. He's a bit jumpy and doesn't always know his own strength. But to his closest owners he is absolutely loving. He loves to sit and nap with his owners. He's been called a "love bug" in the past by some people. This particular Belgian Malinois hasn't seen a lot of training, but with his high intelligence and energy, I reckon he would thrive with an effective trainer.
