Max The Barker

My friends sister was looking to get rid of her beagle and my family offered to adopt it. Max was a great dog, he loved to play in the back yard and go for walks. He was gentle with children and the elderly.

Max had an ear piercing bark that would escalate to a howl when he was left alone. He often got ticks and fleas because he would chase squirrels and raccoons in the back yard.

Our family had a kennel that spanned the length of the back yard that he was supposed to stay in during the night but he always dug out and sat in front of our bedroom window and howled until someone let him inside.

We enjoyed Max's company but my friend's sister missed him so much that she came back for him
