This dog was incredible, we bonded from the first. I used to take him for early morning runs as a puppy. This was deliberate as we lived in the city at the time, and i did not want him socializing with those he was not charged with protecting. Ranger took to the training quickly. He grew into a very composed adult (calm, diligent, and aggressive at times). Ranger was a very responsive dog, and though he exerted dominance over our enclosed yard, he was hardly aggressive towards my family or myself. He would lay beside me after patrolling the yard, just so i could rub his ear (its always good to present a calm demeanor to you animal). The only time he showed me aggression was when; Kaya our female mutt, was in heat and i happened to touch her. The best part was that no one could enter the yard without our permission. Ranger was a all-round loveable and reliable dog.
