Beagle Mix had potential

We took a risk and picked up a Beagle/Chihuahua mix. I know that sounds like a strange breed, but that is what they told us. And, if you saw the dog you could see it.

This was a small dog, only 20 pounds full grown. He was full of life, and loved to go for walks. Because of the Beagle side of him he barked quite a bit. He was not good with other dogs or strangers. We tried to train him, which helped. But, for the most part he was a difficult dog.

The best part of this breed, was that he was a good watch dog. He would defend our house when he heard any strange noises. He also was very loyal to our family, despite not liking other people.
