I was dubious about getting a Chihuahua, because I have small children and I have heard that they are yippy and snippy. But from the moment I met this little lady, she was such a snuggler! She is the ultimate lap dog. She loves to play, and plays with my girls (age 4 and 2) like they are her litter mates. They chase each other and roll around, general rough housing abounds! She was potty trained by the time we adopted her at 4 months, and partially crate trained (but we're bad and haven't completed the crate training). She's the perfect bed-snuggler, and she was leash-trained in a week or so. Super easy to train, great with kids, never barks, extremely affectionate. I love this puppy! The negatives are typical puppy things. She chews anything that's on the floor (my house has never been cleaner!), she loves to dig, and she really doesn't like being left alone. It makes it hard to get errands done, when I know she's home alone. Other than that, I love everything.
