Bart was my first dog. When I picked him up from the farm I was told he was a pure blood beagle but the fact that his ears were twice as long as his body and there was a very satisfied looking old boy Basset Hound nearby lead me to believe otherwise.

What a great dog, he was gentle, kind, great with the cats and other dogs we ended up rescuing. He was a little stubborn to train but was never that much of a problem. Sadly he did develop some organ problems that the vet said was rare but fatal. He passed loved.

Oh and he did eventually grow into those ears.
