I became Daisy’s owner in Nov. of 2010. She was about six months old and a friend of a friend found her wondering around a busy intersection. I believe she had been owned by someone who had spent some time house training her and she was used to being inside. She had a few accidents inside, but they were very minimal and she quickly grew out of it. She is a loyal and protective friend for someone who has some pretty lousy health days. She patiently waits for me to wake and will warn my wife if I am sleeping without my CPAP. She interacts with other dogs calmly with the exception of females about her size and then the animosity seems mutual. She will often bark at strangers, but only as a warning and defense of her property. She has never attempted to bite a human and backs away from the delivery man while barking at him. Because of her laid back personality, protective nature, loyalty, and lovingness, I could not imagine a better pet for me.
