Jacks was a family friend's foster dog that I took care for while the family was on vacation. He was a great dog, playful and incredibly excited to meet anyone and everyone. Whenever you laid down on the floor he would immediately come over to lick your face and was all around a happy dog. However the only problems arose from him being mixed with Australian Shepard, which I hadn't had any experience with previously. As I now know, they need their space. I did not read the warning signs that he was uncomfortable with me being in his personal space and I therefore got bitten. Nothing too serious, but not quite recommended for small children as they often do not understand dog's boundaries.
