My neighbor Kajal has a dog named Maximus. He is an Italian greyhound, Australian Shepherd mix and was born in Italy six years ago. He is what is called a “Gazehound” because he hunts by sight instead of smell. His body shape is that of an Italian greyhound and the hair of an Australian Shepherd. Max is an unusually fast runner, and he has excellent eyesight. This type of dog is very loyal and protective, and good to be trained as a service dog. The top of Maximus’s head is brown, white and black. Underneath his belly and on his legs he is white and he has brown freckles on his legs and paws.

He is the type of dog that craves human companionship and wants to be included in all family activity. They love it when they are engaged in social interaction, whether it be walking, running or fetching, and they are the perfect companions for an active family. This type of dog is very playful and athletic with a muscular frame. Maximus is a very special dog. Not only does he help his owners by giving them love and support, his breed is not particularly common.
