My first pet was a dog named Mickey. I was five when she was picked up by my dad in the streets. Actually all our pets (deceased and living) were rescued animals. Mickey was very weak back then, she couldn’t even growl or produce a minute sound. I can still remember that time my mom wanted to give her warm milk but I refused and gave her instant noodles instead. It was a blissful memory.

Mickey became a very adorable member of our family. She used to play in the bushes beside our old house. She became a very active dog. At that time, strangers could not near our gates because she barked loudly at them. I cannot say any negative things about her; she was the perfect dog for me. She was also a very expressive. You could easily determine her mood and that is the reason why after so many years our family still misses her so much.

Mickey died at the age of 13(human years). She was my best friend that I will never forget.
