I love this breed. Really, I do. From their personality to their size, this is my dream dog.

As of yet, I've only ever worked with Anatolian Shepherd's that belong to other people. Eventually though, I would love to get one to live on the farm with me. I think that they would make great farm dogs - they have boundless energy, are easy to train, and did I mention they're big?

Nothing makes me happier than having a dog that is able to stand up on its hind legs and look me in the eye. Especially when they're as gentle, loyal, and loving as most of these dogs are.

A bit difficult to leash train, and they have a horrible undercoat that sheds like crazy in Spring. But they don't mind the heat and they are very patient dogs, willing to try anything at least once.

Roxanne, who was my all time favorite at the show kennel, loved nothing more than to dart out of the front door before you could clip the leash to her collar. She always ran to the same spot.

The swimming pool.

She loved it. Being in the water, I mean. Even if it was just a hose sprayed in her direction in the summer, it made her so very happy.
