Buddy came from the dog pound, where he had been previously adopted and subsequently returned because he chewed on his owner's oxygen tank tubes. He is a chewer. He steals underwear, bread, and trash, at every chance. He has to be kenneled when home alone because he makes messes on the floor.
Buddy is very energetic and friendly, though he plays rough and likes to stand on top of everything. The family cats avoid him because he is too eager. We have to block doors because if Buddy gets outside without a leash, he runs until he is tired. He loves meeting new people and barks at everyone who passes by the windows.
At the dog park, he socializes well with other animals and loves to dive on the ground (he also does this on beds and couches). We exercise him by running a laser pointer up and down the hall. He is so loving, affectionate, and expressive that we can't help but adore him.
