These dogs are of medium size and easy to care for. They are a healthy breed with some care for coat if hunting as they will get burrs. This can be easily taken care of by oiling ears & undercoat. Brush them as they are curly. They shed some. Some are barkers. I have had my last 2 live until 16 & 14 years of age. I presently have a 5 year old Amy & a new puppy 4 months BrownBear. Just started training BrownBear on some obedience like sitting & waiting.
