I rescued Bilbo from the street, where he was risking to be run over by cars.
Immediately he shows his temper, always happy, jumping all over the places, greeting everybody!
One day we had to tie Bilbo to a rope, because the property didn't have the fencing yet, and we had to leave the day. We did this for three days, keeping him at a long rope during the day, till our arrival in the evening. We din't know if it was after this experience, or because he was growing up (he was about one year and a half already) but his temper changed.
He started barking at people, and we were afraid he would have harmed him- So we built a shelter for him, and since them we've kept him in the shelter when people come visiting or delivering.
He would bark at them, but I'm still wondering if he would actually bite them, of if it's just a fear the WE have and that we instill to him, and tot he people who come.
I say this because he just met my new girlfriend who's not afraid of dogs, and after a couple of days where Ginny would give Bilbo some treats while he was at the rope, they are now best buddy!
He can stay free aroud her and he always ask for treats, cuddles and more attentions! he never barks at her, and she always cuddle him with no fear!
