Sebastian is the quietest dog I have ever met - I have literally heard him bark once in the seven years, when someone was actually breaking into our house. He is a very large, active dog - walking him at least daily is a necessity, if not twice a day. Sebastian is quite the snuggler and kisser, which is can be off-putting to new friends that are uncomfortable around large dogs. With training, he no longer jumps (in his head, hugs) strangers - however, he still doesn't seem to quite understand that he is 100 pounds of love when he tries to cuddle in bed. We have two children who were both quite small when we got him, as well as a cat - he's always been appropriately playful with the children, not too rough. However, he definitely doesn't understand that the cat isn't the same size by a long shot. Overall, he is a very loving, mellow dog who just doesn't understand quite how big he is.
