Don't Believe Everything You Read About PitBulls

When we adopted a large pitbull mixed-breed dog, people thought we were crazy. We were constantly warned about aggression and people would cross the street to avoid him. But, it was totally bogus! Our pitbull was the sweetest goofball I had ever met.

He could have used a little more obedience training to be around small children since he was so large and liked to run around. But, he did learn some simple commands and it was very helpful. Despite that, he quickly became best friends with his toddler (human) brother. He was great with other large dogs. Since he chased and could play a little rough, we kept him away from smaller furry friends.
