Brittney is just an overall awesome dog. Barely any shedding because they have very short hair, however this means that if you are in an area that gets cold in the winter, the dog will probably need a jacket to keep them warm! Will bark if someone is at the door but stops when you tell her. Because she is a Pit Bull I feel safe in my home, although if someone did break in she would probably just lick them! Great with other animals, mild temperament. Needs decent exercise but a walk a day and some time in the yard is enough for them. They do need training but not a lot, just the basics. One thing you do need to know is that (not all, but many) Pit Bulls fart a lot! It is really a thing that is known in the animal community that Pit Bulls can be a little smelly! They are not the best dogs for apartments and rental situations. Not because of them, but many places have restrictions on breed and even if you live somewhere that allows them now, you never know if something might come up and you are forced to move somewhere you aren't allowed them! Also check your area, some places don't allow Pit Bulls in the community just based on their appearance.
