I got my dog Rocky when he was just over year old, he was kind of attached to his other family. He was skiddish at first but adapted fairly quickly as we took many walks together. He is very upfront with other dogs and doesn't scare, when he's with me he is not aggressive, he is an independent dog though. He's strong and lovable but he's his own dog and doesn't to like to play with my other younger dogs even though he is just a year and a half older than them. He too is a farm dog. I am not a fan of dogs living inside the home, but they have their own dog houses and they never even try to enter the home either. I think certain dogs and breeds love being outside and having a "job" herding sheep, or keeping watch, Rocky can do these things but I think he likes taking off and doing his own thing. Still I love him and if you read my other review is my other dog's older half brother. Rocky is american pit bull terrier but he is very lovable.
