Pit Bulls tend to get a bad rap, but I'll add my voice to the chorus of people who say that, when raised correctly, they're some of the best dogs in the world. My experience with Amelia (my Pit/Lab) has been one of pure bliss. She's incredibly affectionate and well-behaved. Everyone is greeted by her with a wagging tail; there's never been a more gentle dog. She also loves adventure and is very active, which fits my lifestyle perfectly. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about her! I'd recommend this type of dog to anyone with the time and energy to care for them.
