Buddy the Rescue!

Buddy was the first dog that my wife and I got together. When we went to the shelter I said, "We're not getting the first dog we see."

But, a happy wife makes for a happy life. So, wouldn't you know it? We got the first dog we saw! Buddy was just a little guy about 4-5 weeks old, all alone in the shelter cage.

He had been thrown over the fence of the animal shelter, clinging to life as a little pup. They told us that they thought he was some sort of pointer mix and would grow no larger than 35-45 lbs, but we've come to believe that he is part pitbull and part labrador. He has grown to 105 lbs!

Buddy is one of the most intelligent dogs I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He learns very quickly, and never complains. I've never even so much as heard him whine. He is very tough, and very sweet. Having him in our lives has certainly made us happier and our lives more rich with him in it.

Buddy is simply the best dog I've ever had
