Roxie is always met with uneasy glances when we are out in public. Bottom line, people are scared of any dog that looks like it has any pit bull in it. What I have found raising Roxie is that the bad rap that this breed of dog gets couldn't be further from the truth. Roxie is gentle, and sweet, and loving, and extremely intelligent. In my experience, the way your dog behaves is all based on your training and how you interact and socialize them. Roxie is a rescue dog, she is nervous around other animals, but loves people. It is not a reflection of her breed, but a reflection on the environment she was born into. Pit Bulls are an amazing breed.
