I owned a pit bull/boxer mix for a year. She was the love of my life. I got her from the Humane Society, she was a runaway no one claimed. When I first got her I had to teach her how to play, after that she was obsessed with tennis balls! Hold one in your hand and you had her full attention. Strangers were afraid of her sometimes even though she was never aggressive toward a person (just other dogs, and usually just playing too rough). Her only flaw that I saw was that she would get sick every time we went on a car ride. She was great with children, fun to play with, and a great watch dog. She wasn't much for cuddling, though, if you are looking for a lazy pal.
