I got Roxie from a friend of my sister's in early 2010. Her dog had babies and she was trying to find a home for them. We took Roxie in, and she was (and still is) a bit skittish and nervous. However, she is a very loving dog and remains very attached to the family. My sister has a baby who is around the same age as the dog, and she watches over my nephew like a watchdog. They're very playful together. She has short hair so it was always easy to keep her clean. As for her behavior, she did well with training to go to the bathroom outside. She has trouble to this day with pulling on the leash while being walked because she gets excited and hyper very easily. All in all, she is a sweet animal and it's good for a laid back person to have a dog such as this to bring them out of their shell.

I no longer live at home with this dog, but I have spoken to her on the phone and she recognizes my voice every time; she whines when she hears it.
