Border Collie-Dalmatian Mix Breed

I've had an amazing experience with this breed! The Collie-Dalmatian I take care of is a fantastic dog, who has been a quick learner of house rules and obedient to commands. Collie-Dalmatians are a mid-size breed that stays calm most of the time, making them great with even those who are normally afraid of dogs. These dogs do shed (their black-and-white fur shows on most clothes), but not extensively, and do not require a lot of grooming. Collie-Dalmatians do not like other pets at first, especially once they are older and have an established "territory," but the dog will adjust to other pets in a couple months or so. Overall, this breed is smart, calm, and loyal (though they do have a lot of energy if they aren't walked or let out often enough), so they make great companions for those who enjoy quieter pets that do not require a lot of effort.
