We couldn't ask for a better dog! Our Pit Bull/American Bulldog mix is such a great family dog. They're very gentle, especially with children. The smaller the child, the more gentle she is. With a baby, she will very tenderly lick their face and lay right next to them, almost as if protecting them. With older kids, she allows them to pet her, play with her, and crawl on her with no problems. She was trained by her previous owner, but we have been able to very easily teach her a few new tricks. These dogs are very smart and eager to learn. They don't need a lot of room for running around, but will need to be walked a couple times a day. They would be great apartment dogs. They don't shed much and don't have many grooming requirements, other than the regular maintenance of nail clipping/ear cleaning, etc. These dogs are very lovable and really enjoy snuggling with their humans!
