I've owned my best dog friend now for more than three years. He is a very mild-mannered dog with a great personality and a wonderful bed hog if you're willing to share.

My only real negatives are also positives; he hears EVERYTHING! So he can sometimes over bark. But, on the other hand there is no better pet to have if you don't want to have unexpected intruders around the house.

His fur is also very fluffy and soft, and because he is a poodle mix, he doesn't cause my allergies to act up.

He can, however, be very possessive. He will act up if he thinks someone is going to harm me, even if they have no intention to do so (such as them closing in on me quickly or moving their hand too fast in my direction). My grandbabies are around him a lot though, and he's never harmed the younger ones, but the five year old, when he gets wound up, causes some issues.

Overall though, he is great for families and would make a marvelous addition for children from a young age.
