American Bulldog What's Good and Bad About Them

The American bulldog can be described as friendly, determined, reliable, somewhat brave pet and possesses tremendous strength.

He has an unpredictable behavior towards strangers which i call it protective instinct. His varied attitude towards strangers can range from very friendly to extremely unfriendly though he is vigilant in most cases. They need to be exposed extensively to people so they can familiarize themselves with normal behaviors and recognize "good guys"

People who are active/athletic are likely to be the ideal owners of this breed. To get the best out this particular breed you need to be willing to help him develop his athletic abilities, agility, farm work and of course weight-pulling. You will certainly love this pet if you are able to train him to unearth his athletic abilities.

The American Bulldog can also be classified as the family type. he lives for his family but can be a bit destructive on his own.

They express emotions by chewing destructively and sometimes barking.

One instinct i love about this breed is they chase and seize fleeting creatures and cats, which can be entertaining sometimes (in my case no harm is caused to these creatures)

If you love athletic pets this American bulldog will be a perfect pet to be with if well groomed.
