Daytona: A Very Wild American Bulldog

Daytona was the wildest animal I have ever had. She was a sleek, white, and pink eared American Bull Dog. She jumped too much and ran around our house at full speed most of the time. Daytona was beautiful but just downright impossible to take care of. She was the kind of dog that would eat anything from a block of cheese to an entire remote control. She was very caring, great with kids, and never aggressive. In fact, she was a big baby and always afraid of other animals. My neighbor had a small dog that he often brought over named Carl. The first time Daytona saw Carl she became so afraid that she ran upstairs, found an open closet, and hid. It was funny and sad at once. Daytona also barked a lot and it was loud. In the end, my parents and I ended up giving her to a family friend who owned a lot of land. She's happy now running majestically through the fields of Virginia.
